CATSys is a comprehensive web-based Container and Transport System.

Purpose built and customed developed from within Stevenson Logistics; a well-known Transport, Warehousing firm which has operated from the Fremantle wharf for over 85 years. CATSys provides a complete solution for logistics companies interfacing with wharf, depots, and customer hubs.

CATSys has advanced system work flows to manage the complexities and compliance required to operate a wharf interface and reduce Stevedore and container park penalties. CATSys gives operators time to focus on delivering value-adding services to your end customers.

By providing both service providers and clients with access to real time job information, CATSys helps to simplify client communications and execution of deliveries.

Our History

Throughout it's growth CATSys has always focused primarily on addressing the growth and challenges faced by all areas of logistics.

What has been developed is a system that understands the importance of exceptional customer service, on-time deliveries, and accurate invoicing. Specific areas such as shipping line demurrage, missed booking fees, wharf storage, late registration, truck break downs and compliance for government bodies (Accreditations) are also established within the CATSys interface.

Rail Modules

Intermodal Group (IMG) is a leading Western Australian freight rail logistics and container transport company.

In 2007 CATSys developed a solution for IMG wharf and rail movements from Fremantle Port to Forrestfield Inland Terminal providing tailored solutions for their tracking and scheduling needs.

As part of the Watco Group of companies, Intermodal Group handles more than 150,000 container movements through the Port of Fremantle each year and plays a vital role in fulfilling the State Government's policy aims of reducing truck traffic throughout the Perth metropolitan area.

  • A specialised module designed for an inland client's Grain Terminal
  • Monitor the progress of predefined runs onsite
  • Enables the definition of individual checkpoints along a route, such as "Arrived Hopper", "Leaving Hopper", or "Loading on Train"
  • Drivers record their arrival at each checkpoint, facilitating performance and timing analysis
  • Initiates events based on checkpoints, such as notifying a reach stacker operator when a driver is leaving the Hopper to reduce waiting times
